What the dossier is — and isn't.

We believe in being straight about our method. This page explains exactly what the audit is based on, and the limits of what it can tell you.

01 — The method

How the audit is produced

Each audit is a structured, AI-assisted analysis. It is produced by an AI model applying our senior-strategist scoring rubric to three kinds of evidence: the brief you submit — your business type, target customer and goals — any homepage screenshots you upload, and, when you provide a URL, retrievable content from your live website.

Live website analysis is a lightweight, best-effort retrieval of publicly available page content such as text, headings and metadata — not a comprehensive crawl, and not a browser render. Screenshots provide the visual evidence for layout, hierarchy and presentation that automated retrieval cannot capture. If your website cannot be retrieved — for example, it renders mainly via JavaScript or blocks automated requests — the diagnostic can still be completed using the evidence you provide, and the analysis will not claim to have inspected content that was never retrieved.

02 — The limits

What to keep in mind

Scores are informed heuristic judgements, not lab measurements. Two analysts — human or AI — can reasonably differ on emphasis. Treat the dossier as expert opinion to inform your decisions, not as a certification.

The audit is not legal, financial, security or regulatory advice, and it is not a guarantee of improved rankings, traffic or conversions. Outcomes depend on many factors outside any audit's view.

Any third-party businesses, brands or websites referenced in the audit remain the property of their owners; we have no affiliation with them unless we say so explicitly.

03 — The sample dossier

A fictional demonstration

The sample dossier on this site is a fictional demonstration. It contains no real business or client data, and its scores, findings and before-and-after panels exist purely to show the format and depth of the real thing.
